Research Interests:

My laboratory has been studying gene expression in the filamentous fungus Neurospora crassa for many years.  Studies have focused on changes in gene expression of the quinic acid (qa) gene cluster in response to different carbon sources. Recent investigations have focused on changes in the proteome of N. crassa in response to the stress of poor carbon sources such as quinic acid and glycerol.
