roteAksarakorn "Rote" Kummasook (email): Rote is currently completing his Ph.D. under his primary dissertation advisor, Dr. Nongnuch Vanittanakom of Chiang Mai University.  Rote worked in Dr. Chet Cooper's laboratory for nearly a year actively investigating various aspects of morphogenesis in the pathogenic fungus, Penicillium marneffei.  Dr. Cooper serves as Rote's international co-advisor as part of the Royal Golden Jubilee Ph.D. Program.
