The doors to the lecture hall (Ward Beecher Science Hall, Room 3022) are permanently locked from the outside.  Once closed, no one can enter without a key or someone on the inside opening the door.  Obviously, this will present a challenge for late students.

At present, the door to the laboratory (Cushwa Hall, Room 2321) is not locked permanently, thereby allowing students to use the facility during open laboratory periods.

Students are strongly encouraged to sign up for Penguin Alert.  Penguin Alert is the University’s emergency notification system that instantly reaches mobile devices when an urgent situation needs to be communicated.
